Job Description: Senior Technical Consultant
Critical Must Haves:
- US Citizen only** (Defense Vendors are clients) – no green card, visas, or sponsorships
- External Consulting Experience with Syteline or other Company Product lines 5+ years
- Discrete Manufacturing Experience with Syteline or other Company Product lines 5+ years
- Willingness to Travel 25% - 50% (Please confirm)
- 10+ years of experience in implementation and customizing Syteline, INFOR CSI
- AWS, .net experience
- No Californian Residents as Candidates
Overview:
- Client is a long-standing client out of the Clinton Twp., Michigan area that works virtually or on client sites.
- Consultants are their product and their expertise in the industry, they must know Syteline, INFOR CSI products from an implementation, customization and technical process perspective.
- They are very specific. Please ensure that all critical items are met, do not color outside the lines here.
- Travel (domestic) is required up to 50% of the time.
- Job hopping or short tenure with multiple moves will not be accepted.
- At least 3 years at a job with no more than 2 jobs in 5 years.
Interview Process:
- Phone screen with Account Manager
- Initial Interview (MS Teams) with HR Director
- Sent Assessment, Matrix or other Assessment tools
- Second Interview with Hiring Decision Maker (usually Tech or Operations)
- Technical call

Position Description:
- A Senior Technical Consultant is a position for a CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine developer and/or consultant, generally with more than five years of experience.
Primary Objectives:
- A Senior Technical Consultant is to provide billable technical and development services to customers in support of their CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine system.
- Depending on skillset, a Senior Technical Consultant may also provide other development or technical services, which may be unrelated to CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine
Key Responsibilities:
- A Senior Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for delivering services to customers through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, analysis, formulating solutions to business issues, documenting specifications, estimating projects, development, testing, debugging, and project delivery to the customer.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Microsoft .NET technologies, including T-SQL, C#, and VB.Net
- Web Development ASP.NET/MVC , consuming and developing Web Services/Web APIs, HTML, JavaScript, and Jquery
- A degree in a technical discipline is preferred
- Enterprise Resource Planning system basic knowledge, specifically CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine
- Previous consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects
- Strong customer service attitude
- Strong self-motivation but not afraid to ask for help
- Hold yourself and your work to high standards
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- High energy level; ability to persist
- Special projects, training, and other internal or external activities may also be assigned at the discretion of Client's, Inc. management.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
- 10+ years of Enterprise Resource Planning systems experience, specifically CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine.
- 5+ years of progressive experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
