Civil Section Manager - Aviation Sector - Hybrid

As a Civil Section Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping infrastructure that connects the world. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of civil engineering projects related to airport environments, including taxiway and runway design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and subject expertise in areas such as deicing facilities, pavement design and striping, roadway design, utility design, and grading.
• Ensure meeting billability targets by effectively monitoring group performance.
• Leverage industry-standard tools like MicroStation, AutoCAD, XP-SWMM, HEC-Ras, and WinTR-55 to deliver outstanding results.
• Identify, analyze and resolve problems in a pro-active manner.
• Cultivate professional relationships with client, peer, and team members.
• Participates in the RFP/RFQ process including, site visits, client meetings, scope development, preparation of project approach, technical execution plans, schedules, and interviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

• Technical Leadership: Lead projects and guide technical teams towards achieving engineering excellence.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion within budget.
• CAD Software Proficiency: Utilize tools like MicroStation and AutoCAD for precise engineering designs.
• Hydraulic Modeling Software Knowledge: Apply XP-SWMM, HEC-Ras, and WinTR-55 for effective water management and drainage solutions on projects.
