Position Overview:

Onward Search is excited to partner with a school in Puyallup, WA , to find a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for a part-time, in-person role. This position starts at the end of February and runs through the remainder of the school year .

Details You Should Know:

• Location: In-person only (no hybrid/virtual options)
• Schedule: 2 days/week
• Hours: 14-16 hours/week
• Caseload: TBD
• Student Age/Grade Level: Elementary

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Assist in the development and review of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavioral intervention plans .
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social-emotional well-being.
• Consult with school personnel on classroom management, behavioral strategies, and student accommodations .
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology .
• Active Washington State ESA certification in School Psychology.
