The Principal Salesforce Engineer is a leadership role focused on driving the delivery and continuous improvement of technical solutions for Salesforce platforms. This position involves hands-on development, technical guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions. The Principal Salesforce Engineer leads large transformation programs, aligns technical solutions with strategic business goals, and stays updated with industry trends to drive innovation within the organization. As a Principal Engineer you will lead a team of up to 30 members across multiple workstreams, ensuring efficient, and effective project execution.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and development of solutions for Salesforce platforms
Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement software solutions that enhance the functionality and performance of these platforms
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and ensure that solutions meet quality standards and best practices
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support and maintenance for existing systems
Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in platform solutions

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom development using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce
3+ years of experience utilizing Apex source code
Experience as a technical lead, leading large transformation programs, and aligning technical solutions with strategic business goals
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Professional certifications in relevant IT areas (e.g., Salesforce)
Experience in a similar industry or sector
