Job Description

LHH is looking for a highly motivated HR Assistant / Recruiting Specialist to join our team. This newly created role is designed to help reduce recruitment placement fees and provide vital support to our HR department, which is currently balancing numerous day-to-day tasks. You will work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, assisting with recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll backup, and organizational chart management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job description creation, FSLA compliance, compensation analysis, approval processes, and collaboration with external recruiters.
  • Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process and collaborate with senior HR staff to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Talent Development: Help initiate position openings, schedule onboarding activities, and support the development of talent within the organization.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain organizational charts and provide backup support for payroll and benefits administration.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of recruitment and talent acquisition processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator or Manager, with foundational knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Professional demeanor, particularly when interacting with leadership.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and resilience in the face of challenge
