Job Title: Oracle EBS Functional Consultant – Succession Planning (12.2.13)

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote)

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of the Succession Planning module in our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version 12.2.13 . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle EBS HCM modules, experience in fit-gap analysis, and a deep understanding of business process improvement and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Succession Planning module within Oracle EBS 12.2.13.
  • Collaborate with business owners to gather and analyze requirements (based on provided documentation and stakeholder inputs).
  • Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis between business requirements and standard Oracle functionality.
  • Identify system gaps and address them through supported customizations, personalizations, or reporting solutions.
  • Perform end-to-end configuration of the module to align with business-specific requirements.
  • Design and develop necessary interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party platforms including:
  • SumTotal Performance/Learning Management
  • Oracle Taleo
  • OrgChart
  • Drive business process improvement and support organizational change management efforts related to the implementation.
  • Develop or provide role-based training materials tailored for:
  • System Administrator
  • Delegates
  • Managers
  • Employees

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with Oracle EBS HCM modules , preferably including Succession Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with EBS 12.2.x implementations or upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of interface development and integrations with external HR systems.
  • Proven ability to perform Fit-Gap Analysis and implement Oracle best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with training documentation and user role enablement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to SumTotal , Oracle Taleo , and OrgChart tools.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Workflow , Personalization , and AIM/OUM methodologies .
  • Change Management and process reengineering experience in HR domains.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Oracle certifications in HCM or EBS modules are a plus.
