Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our Commercial Lines Insurance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, an upbeat personality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Commercial Lines Insurance team
  • Update and maintain vendor information in the database
  • Process vendor paperwork and ensure document accuracy
  • Send quotes to insurance carriers and track responses
  • Manage document handling, including filing, faxing, scanning, and emailing
  • Review supplier websites for accuracy and update records as needed
  • Communicate professionally with carriers and vendors via email and phone
  • Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of recent experience as an administrative professional
  • Upbeat personality and a strong team player
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of a high school diploma (HR diploma required)
