POSITION SUMMARY

DYAD Law is seeking a passionate and strategic Managing Attorney to join our team and champion immigration and immigrant rights. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead impactful legal work across a broad spectrum of immigration matters—including non-immigrant and humanitarian visas, consular processing, waivers, and federal litigation.

The Managing Attorney will play a key role in shaping the firm's operational success. You'll collaborate with leadership to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. As a mentor and leader, you’ll guide a talented team of attorneys and support staff, fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of attorneys and support staff.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery in complex immigration cases.
  • Drive continuous professional development within the legal team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment while meeting operational goals.
  • Oversee the firm’s operations and contribute to strategic growth and innovation in immigration law.
  • Streamline workflows, implement process improvements, and leverage technology to increase productivity and reduce costs across all departments.
  • Oversee the adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensuring that the organization operates within legal frameworks and industry standards.
  • Develop and execute strategies for long-term growth, including scaling operations, enhancing resource management, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to meet evolving business needs.

COMPETENCIES

  • Extensive expertise in immigration law, including non-immigrant and humanitarian visas, consular processing, waivers, federal litigation, and appeals.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising attorneys and staff, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong case management capabilities, developing effective legal strategies, meeting production goals, and ensuring timely, accurate case preparation.
  • Skilled in legal training and continuous learning, organizing sessions to enhance team knowledge and staying current with immigration law updates.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective resolution of complex issues.
  • Experienced in performance evaluation and operational leadership, providing feedback, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to firm and legal standards.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and scalability, implementing tech-driven operational improvements to boost efficiency and support long-term business growth.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience managing complex immigration cases and leading a team of
  • professionals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work remotely or in-office at the firm’s Vista, CA location.
  • Access to reliable internet for remote work.
  • Must be able to handle the emotional and mental demands of working with sensitive and sometimes upsetting immigration cases
