Job Description

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Monroe, NC

Pay: $24.87 to $31.16/hour (+$0.20 for 2nd shift and $0.40/hour for 3rd shift!)

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in plant maintenance is highly preferred.
  • CNC experience is a plus.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • In place of direct experience, technical training (e.g., mechatronics) will be considered.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: 2nd & 3rd shift available

Greene Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Regularly survey all processes, including annual maintenance for major equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures with inspections and corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, teardown, and restore large CNC cells (preferred experience).
  • Maintain conveyor systems and hydraulic/pneumatic assembly equipment.
  • Perform repairs on production machines, fixtures, tooling, and facility equipment.
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed.
  • Complete work orders and collaborate with on-site equipment vendors.
  • Ensure equipment safety by replacing or repairing machine guards and malfunctioning equipment.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other gauges for inspecting components during assembly.
  • Operate forklifts, interpret electrical schematics, and use multimeters for diagnostics.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems.
  • Strong electrical experience.
  • Proficient in reading schematics.
  • Experience with automation, including robotics and troubleshooting sensors.
  • Prior exposure to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
