Summary :
Verigent's client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Project Manager to oversee structured cabling and fiber installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has strong experience with project management and a solid understanding of low voltage systems.
Responsibilities :
• Develop and execute weekly project plans, including scope of work, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage and bid on low voltage projects, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
• Plan and coordinate material acquisition, labor resources, and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Perform site inspections to verify installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Resolve project challenges and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.
Qualifications :
• 2-3 years of experience managing structured cabling, fiber installation, or telecom projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic installation, and low voltage systems.
• Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, pulling, terminating, and testing is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• RCDD Certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
