Key Responsibilities

As a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Assist with electronic and paper filing of legal documents in state and federal courts.
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines, ensuring timely updates and organization.
  • Coordinate scheduling of depositions, hearings, and meetings.
  • Handle client communications, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Support attorneys in timekeeping, billing, and expense tracking.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning, and document management.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting.
  • Litigation experience preferred, with knowledge of court filing procedures and legal terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Availability to work in-office during standard business hours.
