Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The Inside Salesperson is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with commercial customers by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge. This individual will work closely with the outside sales team and management to identify customer needs and offer product solutions to meet those needs. This role is essential for driving sales growth and fostering relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for plumbing sales, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to commercial customers, including answering product questions and offering solutions to meet customer needs
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial customers, including contractors, builders, and facility managers
• Collaborate with the outside sales team and management to identify customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those needs
• Process customer orders and quotes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery
• Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory levels
• Keep current with product knowledge and industry trends to offer informed solutions to customers
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate inventory levels and product availability
• Work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers

Requirements

• Proven experience in inside sales or a related field, preferably in plumbing sales
• Strong skills in warm calling and telemarketing techniques
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with plumbing products and industry trends preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
