Wealth Advisor – San Francisco Wealth Management Firm
A rapidly growing, national independent RIA with over $32 billion in assets under management is seeking a Wealth Advisor to join their San Francisco office. This firm serves primarily high-net-worth individuals and offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with a strong focus on professional growth, internal mobility, and long-term career development.
As a Wealth Advisor, you’ll be responsible for managing an assigned book of existing clients while contributing to new business development through firm-generated leads. You’ll join a team of professionals who value integrity, connection, inclusion, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary relationship manager to a defined group of clients.
Support business development efforts by qualifying inbound leads and helping to expand client relationships.
Partner with internal teams (portfolio management, operations, financial planning) to prepare for client meetings and manage ongoing servicing workflows.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and workflows using the firm’s CRM.
Stay up to date on regulatory and financial industry changes relevant to the advisory function.
Operate in compliance with firm policies, ensuring consistency and quality in all client-facing activities.
Contribute to the team’s broader client service and business development goals through related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business or related field preferred).
Series 65 license or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of relationship management or sales experience, with 1+ year in financial services.
Strong interest in building a long-term career in wealth management; progress toward CFP® designation a plus.
Solid foundational knowledge of investment and financial planning concepts.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly organized, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
