Job Description

Responsibilities

• The EHS Specialist will ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop, review, and update HSE policies and procedures specific to chemical manufacturing operations.
• Conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.
• Develop and monitor emergency response and preparedness plans, including spill control, fire safety, and chemical release scenarios.

Requirements

• The EHS Specialist will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in HSE roles in a chemical plant, refinery, food ingredient plant or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards. OSHA PSM a strong plus.
• Familiarity with risk assessment tools, chemical safety management, and emergency response protocols.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
