Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Archive documentation related to facilities, mechanical content, and entertainment venues
  • Place documentation into online repositories and standardize non-conforming design files
  • Ensure turnover deliverables comply with the Facilities Asset Management department and Disneyland Resort project requirements
  • Manage architectural and facilities engineering drawings and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure documentation has the correct content, document numbers, native files, and project numbers
  • Communicate with project architects and engineers to address additional information concerning the turnover package
  • Conform non-standard electronic files to company standards and archive them into online repositories
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and project charge actions
  • Transfer information to and from online databases and maintain computerized documentation, tracking systems, and data records
  • Perform quality control for all records through online programs, auditing, and visual checks
  • Conduct documentation research for clients using online tools
  • Stay up-to-date with software revisions, new programs, and approved turnover formats
  • Perform searches and upload documentation of manufacturer specification sheets within the online repository environment
  • Audit manufacturer information within the system repository environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional or Bluebeam
  • Experience operating proprietary EDMS (e.g., Enovia Smarteam)
  • Previous experience archiving and retrieving information from databases
  • Strong follow-up and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate the web for vendor catalogs and cut sheets

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Professional, Bluebeam
  • Experience with online and offsite file storage software (BOX, ACCESS)
  • Mechanical manufacturing or product procurement background
