About the Role:
As a Pharma Air Freight Import Coordinator , you will be responsible for handling time-sensitive, temperature-controlled pharmaceutical imports , ensuring compliance with GDP, IATA, and customs regulations . You will work closely with airlines, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies to guarantee the smooth and compliant movement of life-saving medical shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Manage air freight import shipments for pharmaceutical products.
✔ Ensure strict cold chain integrity for temperature-sensitive cargo.
✔ Oversee and process all import documentation (Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, etc.).
✔ Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance .
✔ Monitor shipments, liaise with carriers, and troubleshoot delays or temperature excursions .
✔ Maintain compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice), IATA CEIV Pharma, and MHRA/FDA regulations .
✔ Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics processes.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience in Air Freight Imports (preferably in the pharma sector ).
🔹 Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled transport .
🔹 Knowledge of customs procedures and import regulations .
🔹 Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment .
🔹 Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, carriers, and regulatory bodies .
