Role Overview:

We have a client who is seeking a dynamic AI DBA/Developer to design, optimize, and manage advanced database solutions that power AI-driven applications. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and Python scripting to support the next generation of AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vector and Graph Database Management: Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced database systems like Vector DBs and Graph DBs to support AI and data-intensive workloads.
• Cloud Integration: Implement and manage cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data operations.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Design and deploy RAG-based solutions to enhance AI model outputs and support intelligent information retrieval.
• Collaboration with ML Teams: Work closely with machine learning experts to integrate database solutions seamlessly with AI workflows and models.
• Python Development: Write and optimize Python scripts for database interaction, automation, and system monitoring.
• Development Support: Assist with application development tasks, ensuring seamless integration between databases and front-end systems.
• Communication & Problem Solving: Articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, providing quick and effective solutions to technical challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Vector DB and Graph DB technologies (e.g., Pinecone, Neo4j, ArangoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related database services.
• Hands-on experience with RAG and integrating AI models with structured/unstructured data sources.
• Solid understanding of Python scripting for automation and development.
• Exposure to machine learning workflows and the ability to collaborate with ML teams effectively.

Development Skills:

• Experience in database and application development, ensuring efficient data pipelines and system integrations.
• Ability to optimize database queries and storage solutions for performance and scalability.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of breaking down technical topics into concise, actionable insights.
• Quick thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
